Welcome to an ambitious computer arts festival and a multiplatform demoparty, now taking place in central Stockholm near Slussen aboard M/S Borgila!

Edison 2025 is the 14th iteration of a 2 day event with competitions in programming, graphics and music as well as a social gathering where you can meet old and new friends and get to know the demoscene.

This year we’ve switched to a brand new venue: M/S Borgila on Söder Mälarstrand. We have space for 100+ participants and there are plenty of hostel and food boats along the same dock.

Being a city venue we now close the doors each night, tentatively at 02:00, so you cannot sleep at the venue any longer. The doors reopen 10:00 the next morning.

We run a Spreadshop store for all Edison merch so there are none available to buy at the party nor can you pre-order for delivery at the party. To save on shipping you can order together with a friend. Remember to get the coffee mug as well as there’ll be free coffee at the party.

Our first music act is hereby announced featuring the world’s number one ZX Spectrum rockstar who transports you back to the 1980s with uplifting chiptune melodies, electrifying keytar solos and quirky songs about robots, love and jetpacks.

So join us on Friday at 11 PM to witness Gasman taking over our music stage!
